As Application Engineer (Full Stack) you'll build and release reliable software systems at scale. By partnering with enterprise-wide teams, you'll develop and maintain full stack solutions that fit our business needs. You'll use your holistic view of all products (and their interactions) to design elegant solutions and strategize the future state of our larger technical ecosystem. By independently innovating and advocating for best practices, you'll solve complex problems and guide the team on implementing solutions from inception to production.

As part of Business Technology Finance & Corporate Service, you will work closely with Oracle Fusion ERP, and Facilities areas to work on Integrating systems like Zip, ServiceNow, Workday, Ariba and others. You will get a chance to build applications on AWS using OCP with Java technology, you will also get a chance to build integrations using Rest API, SOAP in real time and use Spring Boot to build batch integrations where applicable. We also leverage Vendor platforms like Oracle Integration Cloud, Zip Integration Platform, and ServiceNow Integration Hub to build real time integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production
  • Create and maintain DevOps processes, application, infrastructure, and utilize Cloud services (including database systems and models/schemas)
  • Work with multiple vendors within Source to Pay, Facilities, and Enterprise Security to deploy, manage, and integrate with DFS Applications
  • Work on Software Upgrades, Patches, Plug-Ins, Whitelisting, Certificate Renewals, Service Accounts, Training, Job Aids, KB articles
  • Partner with engineering team to evaluate, innovate on and enhance development practices and processes
  • Supporting On-Prem (Windows, Unix) and SaaS (Cloud) solutions 3rd party SaaS applications

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelors - Computer Science or related
  • 3+ Years -- Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related
  • Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of competent on the Competency model.

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience in working in a cloud environment such as AWS.
  • Building Integration with external systems
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Application and Oracle Integration cloud.
  • Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server).
  • Experience in programming languages (Unix scripting, Java, Python, JavaScript (React), Node.js etc.) and integration using Rest API/SOAP/Webservices.
  • Experience in Application framework (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Postman, Docker, Jenkins, Maven).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented principles with an ability to write efficient code.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Trident or similar; Git/GitHub; Artifactory
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented principles with an ability to write efficient code.
  • Regression and maintenance testing for maintenance releases
  • Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
  • Experience as part of an Agile engineering or development team

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $86,500.00 to $146,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
