The Role
We are seeking an Associate Director, People Analytics with experience as an Industrial/Organizational (I/O) psychologist to drive our talent and organizational analytics. Our business is to translate the skills inherent in our technical and consultative workforce into customer impact. We therefore seek to optimize the development and deployment of our employees' skills, while providing an industry-leading experience for our Kyndryls and our clients. This work is fueled largely by our skills strategy, and will support our recruiting, learning, engagement, performance management, leadership development, and overall organizational effectiveness.

Kyndryl is a global, largely remote company, where you join a group of 40 People and Workforce Analytics professionals and lead a small team. We are fast, flat, and focused: you will engage with senior leadership, a diverse group of HR professionals, fellow data scientists and analysts and business leaders to ensure our insights are both scientifically rigorous and aligned with our business goals.
Your work will directly influence our enterprise strategy and operations and impact tens of thousands of employees. As the Associate Director, People Analytics, you will be specifically responsible for the following:
Talent development and performance management:
- Drive analytics to identify drivers of success to support processes and programs for employee and leadership development, including training, successful matching to projects, assessment tools and leadership development efforts.
- Design and refine performance management systems to support, and as Kyndryl's offerings increase in sophistication, the continued evolution of Kyndryl's workforce.
Organizational development and employee engagement:
- Evaluate organizational networks and interactions and identify opportunities to improve workplace productivity, culture, and employee satisfaction.
- Develop and analyze employee engagement surveys and continuous listening systems to inform organizational strategies and ensure Kyndryl remains employer of choice within the industry
Research and insight generation:
- Conduct research to support the development and validation of new Talent analytics and strategies; incorporate new advancements and best practices into your work.
- Translate analytic results into actionable insights to inform technical and non-technical partners, from fellow data scientists to c-suite level leadership.
Mentorship and collaboration:
- Manage team of 1-3 analysts; provide coaching and development support.
- Collaborate with technical teammates, HR experts, business leaders and senior executives to understand business problems, problem solve solutions and communicate insights.
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $134,160 to $254,880 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $ 147,600 to 305,880
New York City: $ 161,040 to 305,880
Washington DC: $147,600 to $280,320
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience and skills:
- Master's degree or higher in Psychometrics, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience and proven history of executing advanced analytics, including psychometric techniques like item response theory, Organizational Network Analysis/ ONA analytics leveraging skills graphs, as well as in deploying advanced analytics models into production.
- An Industrial/Organization Psychologist with proven proficiency in statistical software and coding languages and experience with graph databases and analytics (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, Python, Cypher)
- Experience with Workday is a bonus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a group of truly delightful and dedicated humans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse group of stakeholders to distill actionable analytics plans from complex business problems.
