Title: Benefits Analyst
Location: New York City (Hybrid)
Capgemini is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Benefits Analyst to assist the Financial Services business Unit Benefits Team in the day-to-day functions and administration of Capgemini's employee benefit programs in US and Canada for around 6,000 employees.
The benefits Analyst will play a major role in the administration of all benefit-related programs and services in a very fast paced and vibrant environment. These include health and welfare plans, voluntary benefits plans, retirement plans, time-off, STD/LTD, Wellness and EAP.
Responsibilities
- Lead vendor performance of all benefit partners, ensuring programs are cost-effective and meeting service level agreements.
- Resolve Employee critical issues related to US and Canada employee benefits programs; assisting in employee understanding, enrollments and providing direction to employees where to find information online.
- Ensure the timely and accurate input of all enrollments, change, and termination data into Alight and carriers' systems.
- Lead ongoing assessment and vital design modifications with our Brokers of our benefits plans while implementing any changes.
- Assist the Benefits leader to lead a multimillion-dollar Benefits budget. Utilizing full understanding of the budgeting process, accrual process and maintenance.
- Assist the administration and enrollment of the retirement plans 401k, NQDC, RRSP in the US and Canada.
- Lead the weekly new hire US and Canada benefits orientation sessions.
- Plan and lead the annual Open Enrollment process in the US and Canada.
- Communicate new plans and/or changes to existing plans by preparing announcement materials, plan summary documents and other materials for communicating to employees.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payments of Invoices.
- Collaborate with the Benefits Leader to ensure company compliance with ERISA, federal, state, and local laws, including required notice distribution, audits of benefits plans & deductions, and ensuring reporting requirements are met timely.
- Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions to carriers are uploaded in a timely manner.
- Assess and audit payroll deductions to ensure accuracy.
- Work directly with our Carriers to ensure approvals are processed timely and Payroll receives the necessary information.
- Keep Capgemini current on new/innovative practices and trends across the tech industry with employee benefits, perks, and wellness.
- Lead LOA/ STD/LTD and Worker's Compensation programs.
- Assist the team in leading projects, year-end activities, and ad hoc report requests.

Required Skills
- Excellent collaboration and social/communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent time management skills, with excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough technical knowledge of US government regulations, benefit program trends and prevailing practices.
- Detail oriented with high attention to accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree a minimum of 5 years' experience in a benefits role within global environment preferred.
- Excellent computer skills; proficiency in MS Word, Excel (Pivot tables/ V-lookup), PowerPoint, HRIS, and Benefits Platforms.
- Deep understanding of Program and systems design interdependencies; prior HRMS implementation experience required.
- In depth experience leading LOA, FMLA, and Workers Comp.
- Thorough knowledge of Canada's provincial regulations, benefits trends and practices.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $ 90,000 - 110,000 $/yearly.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
