Electronics Portfolio Development Executive

Troy, MI / Remote

ThePortfolio Development role reports through the Siemens DI SW Americasorganization and is responsible to drive new business attainment for theSiemens Simcenter suite of solutions in the Electronics and Semiconductormarket segments.

ThePortfolio Developer will be responsible to successfully drive market growth asevidenced by pipeline development, new business attainment and overall marketgrowth for these industries. The rolerequires coordination with multiple resources within the company (AccountDevelopment, Account Orchestrators, Inside Sales, Sales Management, ChannelPartners, CAE Technical Specialists and others) to develop sales strategy andtactics as well as drive execution in customer facing engagements.

There is anemphasis on demonstrating business value to our customers using a Digital Twin/ Digital Thread approach in which business process and integration ofsolutions across different portfolios (e.g., PLM, Design, Simulation,Manufacturing, ...) are discussed and demonstrated. The successful Portfolio Developer requires provenindustry knowledge, strong business acumen, strong knowledge and experience inleveraging the CAE subscription model to drive new business and familiaritywith a wide range of solutions used by customers to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities/Tasks

Specifictasks and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop business plans that sub-segment the market, identifybusiness trends, define initiatives and identify specific accounts to target indeveloping pipeline and business
  • Use SFDC and other tools to understand the overall businesspicture of the assigned industry (pipeline, ARR/revenue attainment, forecast)and adjust the business plan as necessary during the fiscal year
  • Work with the broader sales team to assist in developing accountplans to drive business in specific accounts in conjunction with the overallbusiness plan
  • Plan, coordinate and execute on a variety of tactics includingsocial media, webinars, seminars, user group meetings, customer workshops,email campaigns, etc. to drive customer meetings and develop new business salesopportunities
  • Work with a variety of resources including CAE technicalspecialists to conduct customer meetings and progress opportunities through thesales cycle
  • Understand, leverage and share experiences and strategies in usingthe Digital Thread approach to drive team success across the Siemens DI SWenterprise

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5+ years current experience in Simulation software sales, Simulation software business development, Simulation software pre-sales or strongindustry experience related to engineering simulation software.
  • Must have experience (working in OR with) in either the Electronicsor Semiconductor markets.
  • Strong history of goal/quota attainment over career
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Familiarity in the use of desktop solutions such as Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint and other job-related software packages
  • Excellent public speaking skills complemented by exceptional written and oral skills as well as strong organizational abilities
  • Proven ability to independently formulate, understand and articulate customer needs and solution strategies
  • Candidate must be able to travel up to 40%
  • Must currently reside in the continental United States; working remotely from home is an option. It is a firm requirement that applicants be currently residing in the United States, as relocating (Or working from another country) is not an option

The totalcash compensation range for this position is $157,400 to $314,800 with 30% of thisbeing comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offeredis based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additionalfactors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training.
