Facilities Supervisor

You will be responsible for the operation of the Security operation and Soft Services at the Liverpool sites fulfilling pharmaceutical quality and regulatory standards.

Ensuring that all Security and soft services providers operate to the relevant standards identified within the various Master Services and local contractual agreements.

Acts as facility owner for all Facilities related operational and CAPEX initiatives.

You will report to the senior facilities manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under general supervision, The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for:
    • Leading and managing the security operation across the Liverpool sites through the incumbent Security Sub-contractor. Additionally, when required support Security aspects relating to the Maidenhead Site.

  • Ensuring Security services are delivered in accordance with current regulations, legislation and organisational standards.
  • Accountability for security procedures and Assignment Instructions.
  • Co-ordination of day-to-day Facilities activities. The role is accountable for developing, maintaining and improving the performance of outsourced services including but not limited to, general facilities services, catering and waste services.
  • Working with key stakeholders such as VP manufacturing and site head, Heads of Primary and Secondary Manufacturing and the Engineering Leadership team to ensure that the outsourced service provision meets the current and future operational and legal compliance aspects of the site.
  • Management and support in delivering the Facilities Management budget to ensure the operational and cost-effective provision of outsourced services.
  • Collection and monitoring of data to ensure accurate response to reported problems, elevating cGMP related issues to the Leadership and Quality stakeholders.
  • Review and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), specifications and drawings etc.
  • Ensure all aspects of Facilities services comply with relevant Health and Safety standards local zoning laws and GMP regulations.

  • Your skills and experience
    • Recognised industry Security and Manned guarding Qualification.
    • Minimum Institute of Workplace and Facilities Mgt industry certification.
    • Proven experience within a Facilities/Security environment.
    • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
    • Strong stakeholder communication skillset.
    • Action and problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive multiple accountabilities simultaneously.
    • Functional knowledge of operating within a GMP regulated environment.
