Our mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

Working at Google
Google isn't a conventional company, and we don’t intend to become one. We know that every employee has something important to say, and that every employee is integral to our success.
Since our founding in 1998, Google has grown by leaps and bounds. And starting from two computer science students in a university dorm room, we now have thousands of employees and offices around the world. A lot has changed since the first Google search engine appeared. But some things haven’t changed: our dedication to our users and our belief in the possibilities of the Internet itself.

What Google Does
We’re building a company where people of different views, backgrounds and experiences can do their best work and show up for one another. A place where every Googler feels like they belong. So whether you are a part of developing innovative technology, campaigns, products or partnerships, your work here is a chance to accomplish things that matter. Bring your uniqueness, insight, imagination, and healthy disregard for the impossible.

Our hybrid approach to work
A more flexible work week
At Google we’ve implemented a hybrid work week where most Googlers spend about three days in the office and two days wherever they work best. Since in-office time is focused on collaboration, teams at Google decide which days they will come together. There are also roles that need to be on site more than three days a week due to the nature of the work.
More flexibility for your life
Work-from-anywhere weeks: Googlers are able to temporarily work from a location other than their main office for up to four weeks per year.
