Essential Job Duties:
- Elicit requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use case scenarios, and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into detailed requirements. Distinguish user requests from underlying true needs.
- Apply strong analytical and organizational skills to manage complex situations holistically.
- Take full responsibility for your work and work independently with self-motivation.
- Serve as the primary IT Business Analyst on medium to large complex projects, successfully engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Document business requirements in Use Case and User Story formats.
- Support both Agile Scrum and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Write requirement Acceptance Criteria and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including those outside of IT, on requirements and delivered value.
- Work with developers and subject matter experts to analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze information needs, functional requirements, use cases, and user/system interface designs.
- Generate current and future state end-to-end process flows and data flow diagrams.
- Develop requirements specifications using defined processes and tools governed by SOP and project guidelines, such as Top Team Analyst, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Create software screen mock-ups and prototypes.
- Foster good working relationships with all departments while managing business expectations.
- Provide input into Test Plan creation and support test plan validation for QA as required.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of practical experience in a Senior IT Business Analysis role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or science-related discipline (preferably Biology).
- CBAP IIBA certification or an equivalent Business Analysis certification.
- Experience working in a commercial medical lab supporting molecular diagnostics.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $128,000
Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
