Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking an accomplished Technical Engineer in Marketing Technology to join our Marketing Engineering Team in a hybrid/remote capacity. As part of this team, you'll collaborate with fellow engineers to develop a modern marketing technology stack that fuels Autodesk's hypergrowth in the AI era. We seek a subject matter expert in marketing technology architecture, operations processes, and data modeling.You'll lead the implementation of our marketing automation engine, driving personalized marketing experiences that fuel growth. You'll have extensive experience integrating with advertising platforms and ecosystems, and a solid understanding of DSPs, DMPs, Ad Hubs, and CDPs. Experience with Proven experience with Marketing Automation platforms like Marketo. Expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Salesforce.com . You should have deep understanding of various marketing platforms is crucial, and you should have a passion for leveraging technology to enhance marketing decision-making processes. You will report to the Senior Manager of Engineering.

Responsibilities
- You will build technology solutions in the digital marketing, lead generation, prospect pipelining, customer journey mapping and other aspects of marketing automation engineering.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for large-scale data processing using Apache Airflow
- Work with AWS services such as S3, EMR, Lambda & Cloudformation
- Collaborate with multiple partners (Go-to-market teams, Product Managers, Engineering, Architects, Data Scientists) to understand customer requirements, design prototypes, and bring innovative technologies to production. This includes influencing product roadmaps and efficient usage of marketing capabilities
- Design marketing automation solutions, data models, enabling personalized marketing and customer experience functions
- Be responsible for "big picture" solution design with multiple integrated systems and large data volumes
- Transform (build/buy/recommend) our technology stack for experimentation and personalization with an eye towards customer experience and business growth
- Implement marketing automation tools to streamline and automate marketing tasks
- Ensure that we are continuously raising our standard of engineering excellence
- You will ensure non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and governance are all in place
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years working in Marketing Technology space
- Demonstrated experience of working with Marketing tools like Marekto, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaigns, AEM, etc.
- Strong skills in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive
- Expertise in the AWS domain, including experience with services such as S3, EMR, Lambda, Redshift and Cloudformation
- Experience a must with Digital Advertising, Adtech, and similar applications.
- Experience with configuration and deployment of Email/SMS Marketing Campaigns and implementing Data Driven Decisioning Workflows
- Experience in Technical/Functional design and Solutions Architecture
- Experience with management of CMS/DAM solutions
- Expert level understanding and experience designing cloud Data models
- Expertise in Big Data Platform architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and cost to serve
- Expertise in enterprise data management policies and principles with a focus on data lineage and data cataloging strategy
- Working knowledge of Python, Java, Pyspark, Airflow
- Prior work experience in cloud environments, primarily with AWS and distributed systems
- Customer Data Platform experience is a plus
- Familiarity with any Cloud Platforms from AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Data Analytics and mapping it to Campaigns
- Solutions-oriented, Collaborative, and with great people skills
- Result-oriented, with the ability to define outcomes, manage expectations, and meet deadlines based on project requirements.
- Experience with digital advertising such as ads serving, rendering & ranking

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $141,400 and $228,800. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
