The Role
In the role of Senior, Manager Go-to-Market Planning, you will partner across functional groups to plan, build and execute Go-to-Market strategies for new products and solutions to be distributed by IWMS and FI. The role will primarily focus on go-to-market activities for proprietary investment products, including Alternatives, ETFs, Model Portfolios and SMAs. The role will manage Go-to-Market engagements both as an individual and in partnership with teammates as dictated by the scope and complexity of the initiatives. The team plays a critical role in helping IWMS and FI execute against strategic initiatives and priorities, as well as enabling IWMS and FI Sales and RM teams to meet their goals.

This includes the following key elements:
- Organizing Go-to-Market engagement teams made up of functional partners to drive, define and manage comprehensive Go-to-Market plans (product, marketing, targeting, readiness)
- Executing against a consistent framework of Go-to-Market tasks and deliverables to ensure complete and consistent product and solution implementations
- Partnering with Relationship Management and Sales leaders to understand distribution strategies, associate preparedness, and on-going support resource needs for driving new Product and Solution distribution success in the marketplace
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 3-5 years or more of relevant work experience in a distribution function or a functional partner role
- Experience with selling or supporting the development/promotion of investment products
- Series 7, 63 Licenses -Required within 90 days
- Experience in demonstrating leadership/influence and collaboration both with direct team members and matrixed partners across multiple and diverse groups
- Excellent engagement skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively
- Critical thinking with excellent judgment and strong initiative
- Outstanding project management skills, with dedicated attention to detail and organization.
- Learning attitude; positive approach to experimentation and failure; willingness to continuously evolve approaches to execution against responsibilities and driving value to the business
The Team
The Senior Manager, Go-to-Marketing Planning role is a critical member of the Market Readiness organization supporting IWMS and FI. Market Readiness is responsible for planning and enabling the execution of organizational initiatives that help our clients and prospects engage effectively with IWMS and FI. Key partners include the Client Relationship Groups, Product, Marketing, Practice Management, Finance, Legal and Compliance among others.
