• High school diploma, equivalent technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Completion of apprenticeship program.
• 3-4 years of proven experience in the maintenance and/or construction trades.
• Certifications related to welding, utilities, basic electrical circuit, or plumbing.
• Experience using power tools is a must.
• Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
• Adaptable to a variety of environments or work demands.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to work independently with little direction or supervision.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working Conditions

• Move, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 lbs.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps and/or ladders.
• Reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Travel to other facilities as needed.
• Required OT for scheduled work, after hour response and weekends options available.

• Performs a variety of skilled tasks related to maintenance and building improvements throughout the organization as assigned by the facility manager, VP of Support Services, or division managers.
• Undertakes special projects and completes projects independently meeting defined deadlines.
• Responsible for ensuring facilities, utilities, and equipment meet RMC defined standards and are maintained in good repair.
• Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools, and equipment related to the building maintenance and restoration trades.
• Keeps tools and equipment related to the restoration trade in proper working condition.
• Diagnoses problems and troubleshoots equipment; repairs faulty equipment related to the restoration trade.
• Performs a variety of assigned welding and metal fabrication projects ensuring projects are completed as per specifications.
• Assists Fleet Manager with tasks related to vehicle maintenance, vehicle customization/ aftermarket, and body work as needed.
• Maintains records related to assigned activities and work performed including accurate logging of relevant documents, work orders, project progress visuals, and purchase orders.
• Assists in the onboarding process of new employees; supports in the workstation set up, position specific checklist, and job specific tools and safety gear for new team members.
• Observes and displays understanding of safety guidelines and applies to daily tasks.
• Perform other related duties as required.
