Vice President, Chief Architect

Atlanta, GA / Remote

Job Requisition ID #

24WD79280

Position Overview

Reporting to Autodesk's Chief Technologist, the Vice President, Chief Architect for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization will be accountable for the architectural future vision of technology in COO's organization and for accelerating the representative platform journey at Autodesk. You have expertise in several key areas that revolve around designing and managing the architecture of an organization that is responsible for Commerce, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Data and AI systems. You will lead the technical direction to accomplish our goals, digital transformation programs, provide guidance to executive management on new technologies and buy vs. build decisions and champion initiatives such as resilience, engineering, and operational excellence within the engineering community. We define architecture as encompassing the fundamental organization of a system, the standards, technologies, and principles employed, and the governance of its evolution. Thus, your role is beyond point-in-time designs, rather to ensure that innumerable designs and iterations work together to create a sum greater than its parts.
